Slow ripening heirloom varieties, grown in the rich red soils of Ethiopia’s western highlands, under the shade of Jimma’s tropical, rainforests are carefully hand-picked and sorted by local producers to yield the sparking citrus and cocoa flavours signature to coffee’s birthplace.

The annual late-spring arrival of Gera is eagerly awaited, as it has grown to become a favourite of Artigiano’s roastery.
